The Sienna McKenna Story Series, Cloud 9 Isle of Dreams, is a collection of highly illustrated night themed stories in verse written for children and parents to share at bedtime. Books 1 - 4 are coming soon on the website. Book 1 is available on The Great British Bookshop, Amazon and Waterstones currently. Book 5 is in progress and there are 3 further manuscripts. Iola is an emerging author who has been writing since childhood. She is a qualified nurse, midwife and children’s nurse. Iola loves the charm of fairy tales, the enchantment of magical lands lands and the effect they have on children. She appreciates the enquiring minds of children and their interpretation of the world.

Concept & Series Details
The Series
The series is written with the intention of a child growing as the story grows, starting off with simple poems introducing Sienna, her toys and the dreamworld characters she has met so far. Then there are simple stories told in verse becoming longer and increasing in complexity a little as the series progresses. By Book 7 the book is split between just two stories. The plot is more intense and the themes of teamwork and problem solving become a feature of the tales.
Book 1
Sienna introduces the Tuck-up Toys, The Dream Friends of Dream Cloud 9 and many inhabitants of the Isle of Dreams including fairies from all over the world and a new species of elf.
Book 2
Sienna introduces her pets and the Cul-de-sac Club, formed of kids from her street, their siblings, her brother Theo and all of their Tuck-up Toys. They join Sienna in her enchanting dream world.
Book 3
Sienna shares more stories when new children move into the street and become members of the Cul-de-sac Club. They also join in with Sienna’s nocturnal travels to Cloud 9 and the island.
Book 4
The Cul-de-sac Club meet some more new neighbours. They have exciting new adventures at the inland and coastal waters of the Isle of Dreams where there are plenty of new creatures and characters.
